    The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and IEEE North South University Student Branch jointly organized an workshop on “Industrial Instrumentation, PLC and Automation” . The workshop was conducted by IECS BD,  a professional PLC training company operated in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The workshop  included the introduction and operation of the following devices 1.Siemens S7 300 PLC 2.Siemens S7 200 PLC 3.Siemens logo PLC 4.Allen Bradley PLC 5.Mitsubishi PLC 6.Omron PLC 7.     ECE Workshop on “TIZEN Applicatyion Development” BY SAMSUNG R&D BANGLADESH

      In collaboration with Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh (SRBD), the Department of Electrical and computer Engineering and IEEE North South University Student Branch (INSB) recently organized a technical workshop on “TIZEN OS”, the latest mobile and smart watch operating system developed by Samsung. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Raquibul Hasan, Chief Engineer, Mobile Software Group also the Team Lead of Tizen Advanced Wearable Device group. The workshop included an introduction to the architecture and platform of Tizen OS, scopes and application of Tizen in the upcoming future.
