    NSU Team ranked Third Place in the Nation in ACM- ICPC 2015 Regional Dhaka Site Contest

    Congratulations to the “Team BugLovers” of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NSU, who earned third position in the the ACM-ICPC regional Dhaka site contest. The prestigious international programming contest event  was held in November 13-14,2015 at NSU campus, Bshundhara, Dhaka. This year, a total of 985 teams from 75 universities of the country participated in the preliminary round of the programming competition, which was conducted online on 31st October.     NSU Hosts ACM-ICPC 2015- Dhaka Regional Site Contest for the 12th Time

    The ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM-ICPC) 2015- Asia Regional Dhaka Cite Event was held at North South University (NSU) from October to November for the 12th time.   One of the largest and most prestigious multi-tiered programming competitions, the ACM-ICPC allows students from different universities around the world to not only interact with one another, but also sharpen and demonstrate their coding, problem-solving and teamwork skills.   • ICT for National Development in Bangladesh

    A seminar on “ICT for National Development in Bangladesh” was organized by the Department of ECE at NSU on November 14, 2015. The panelist of the seminar were  Mr. Shyama Prasad Bepari, Joint Secretary, Education Ministry, Dr. Lafifa Jamal, Associate Professor at the University of Dhaka and Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad, Professor, CSE Department, BUET along with Mr. Munir Hasan of Prothom Alo, Mr. Mubin Khan, MD, EATL and Mr. Fahim Mashroor, CEO, Bdjobs.com.Ltd.  The Dean of the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, Dr. Sirajul Islam was the session chair.
