Biography

Md. Mizanur Rahman received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, ON, Canada in May 2016. Before that he pursued B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), Chittagong, Bangladesh with 3rd merit position.

Before joining at North South University, Mr. Rahman served as a Research Assistant at Power Electronics and Drives Research Lab, Lakehead University, Canada. He also served as an adjunct faculty at Confederation College, Canada. He has served as a faculty member at University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB).

Award: In October 2017, I was awarded the Best (First Position) Masters Thesis Award ( Masters Category) in the thesis competition arranged by IEEE Industry Applications Society. The prize handover ceremony was held in Cincinnati, OH, USA.
