On 26th July of 2019 the robotics team of North South University, Team NSU HAU MAU has achieved Champion of the Robo Combat segment of “এসো রোবট বানাই”.

GPH Group Presents “এসো রোবট বানাই” is the first reality show of Bangladesh on robotics. This show was telecasted on Channel-i and the knowledge partner of this show was CRID USA. Almost 150 students of 30 teams from different universities of Bangladesh participated in this segment. Among them, our Team NSU HAU MAU has secured first by knocking out the other teams.

Hon’ble State Minister, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Journalist and media personality Shykh Seraj, President of CRID USA Mehdi Shams, Chairman and Managing Director of GPS Group, others honorable people and media personalities were present in the Grand Finale ceremony.

Team HAU MAU is the robotics team of North South University, was formed in 2015 by three students of ECE department who were ambitious and passionate on robotics and technology. The path was not that easy for them. Balancing this robotics activities with academic life was the main challenge for them. Earlier life of this team was mostly full of failure. But they never retreated. Paused, searched the lacking, learned, updated and then re-initiated. This was the core principle of Team HAU MAU. Team has now more three enthusiastic members and the exploring capabilities has broadened than the before.

Team HAU MAU never did this research and exploration alone only for them. They always tried to inspire the students of North South University on this field. They always tried to stand by the interested students/teams. They always tried to eliminate the fear and anxiety on engineering and technology from the students from students mind. The team tried to play this role in the last years and the team will do the same in the future.

Team NSU HAU MAU is not only known among the students of North South University but also they are well known among the engineering students of the major engineering universities of Bangladesh.
