Hiring Web Developer for ECE

Job Title: Web Developer (Laravel & React JS) for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), North South University (NSU)

No. of Positions: 2 (duration 6 Months as student and/or guest worker defined by NSU)

Position Summary: The department of ECE plays a pivotal role in maintaining an online presence and engaging with students, faculty, and staff through the departmental website. We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to join our team and contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of our website. As a Web Developer proficient in Laravel, React JS, and database systems (MySQL or PostgreSQL), you will take the role of designing, building, and maintaining our department’s website. You will collaborate closely with our ECE web development team, ensuring our online platform reflects our commitment to excellence. 

Key Responsibilities:

– Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel, React JS, and DBMS.

– Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather and define website requirements.

– Create responsive and user-friendly web interfaces to improve the overall user experience.

– Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.

– Identify and troubleshoot issues, ensuring a seamless online experience.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or currently enrolled), Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

– Proven expertise in web development using Laravel and React JS.

– Designing and implementing database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

– Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a collaborative team.
