NSU ACM SIGAPP SC will be organizing a 3 part web development workshop from Friday, February 08 where participants will get introduced to making a real-world application using Laravel, the most popular PHP web framework.
Some of the learning outcomes of this workshop are-

1. Learning how to use routes
2. Learning the MVC pattern
3. Learning how to use the templating engine Blade
4. Learning how to connect with and use databases
5. Learning what migrations are and how to use them
6. Learning how the Laravel ORM works
7. Learning the use of Eloquent relationships
8. Learning about form validation
9. Learning how third-party libraries can be added to Laravel

The workshop would be especially useful for students taking CSE311, CSE327, and CSE299 as they will hands-on experience in making a web application from the ground up and would be able to utilize this knowledge in their class projects.
