Biography
M. Maksud Alam, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in Electrical & Computer Engineering at North South University (NSU) with 10+ years of teaching experience in Bangladesh and internationally. He earned his Ph.D. from McMaster University (Canada), his M.S. from Purdue University (USA), and his B.Sc. Eng. (First in Class) from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET, Bangladesh). Dr. Alam’s research program encompasses three key areas: developing Wearable Biosensors for advanced Healthcare monitoring, advancing AI and Brain-Mimicking techniques through Signal and Image Processing, and creating Smart Sensors for Intelligent Machines.
