NSU Vendetta secured the 1st runner up position in Inter University Programming Contest 2017, SUST.
SUST Inter University Programming Contest 2017 was held at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology campus on August 5, 2017. A team from North South University, NSU Vendetta, secured the 1st runner up position out of 161 teams. The team consisted of three members: Tarango Khan, Labib Rashid and Hasib Al Muhaimin, who are students of ECE Department. They solved 8 out of 12 problems. After the contest the prizes were given by Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Honorable State Minister of Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is currently accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Lab Officer, serving 20 hours/week. Responsibilities: Independently teach 3 undergraduate labs (9 hours/week). Provide consultation to students for remaining contracted hours (11 hours/week). Assist in preparation of laboratory manuals. Invigilate examinations, assist Faculty Members with lab assessments.
