NSU Capstone Innovation Challenge Culminates with Project Showcase and Seminar on Big-Data
To encourage, enlighten and enrich the students with contemporary theoretical and practical knowledge, a series of events has been organized at North South University in April 2017 at a never-before span. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is currently accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Lab Officer, serving 20 hours/week. Responsibilities: Independently teach 3 undergraduate labs (9 hours/week). Provide consultation to students for remaining contracted hours (11 hours/week). Big data seminar held with industry experts at NSU ECE
To bring an insight to big data and tools to handle it, NSU arranged a seminar on Big Data from the ECE department, supported by NSU ACM Student Chapter. Championship award in the Competition “১ আইডিয়াতে বাজিমাত”
NSU alumni of ECE department got the championship award in the Competition “১ আইডিয়াতে বাজিমাত”. This Competition was arranged by the Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resources (MPEMR), Bangladesh. Team “Trans4mers” (Chowdhury Erfan Shourov and Fazle Elahi) took part in it and secured the 1st place. The prize money was worth 1 lac taka. The idea was “Security System and Maintenance for the Transformers in the Rural Areas of Bangladesh”.
