The ECE Capstone Project Showcase Summer 2024
The Capstone Project Showcase Summer 24 and the Innovation Challenge Season 15 took place on December 2, 2024, in the NSU Plaza area. It was intended for all graduating ECE students who had already completed their yearlong projects in CSE/EEE/ETE499A and 499B. They demonstrated their projects to other students, faculty members, and visitors. 3 Projects had been selected for the award.

Dr. Chowdhury of ECE, NSU Awarded ICO’s Galileo Galilei Medal at Prestigious International Optics Congress
Dr. Mahdy Rahman Chowdhury, an Associate Professor from North South University’s (NSU) Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) received the prestigious ICO’s Galileo Galilei Medal at the 26th Congress of the International Commission for Optics (ICO). Dr. Chowdhury was one of the invited plenary speakers among the ten scientists from different countries of the world. Among them were two Nobel Laureates of physics (Prof. Donna Strickland and Prof. Anne l’Huillier) who also presented their work at ICO’s 26th congress.
