We are proud to announce that Team Envo-Fighter, consisting of students from North South University (NSU) and Daffodil International University (DIU), has achieved the prestigious Champion position at the NASA Space Apps Challenge Bangladesh 2024. This remarkable achievement highlights the talent and dedication of our students and stands as a significant milestone for NSU.

Led by one of our brilliant students, the team excelled in this International Hackathon, which is hosted by NASA to encourage innovative solutions for real-world challenges through technology. A hackathon is a collaborative event where tech enthusiasts come together to build cutting-edge apps to solve pressing global problems.

This year’s challenge saw participation from 541 teams across 9 divisions in Bangladesh. Team Envo-Fighter emerged as the champions and has been selected as a Global Nominee, representing Bangladesh in the International Round of this prestigious event.

The award ceremony was presided over by James Gardiner, Economic, Science, and Technology Officer of the US Embassy in Dhaka, along with Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, Managing Director and CEO of United Commercial Bank (UCB).
