According to WHO 17.9 million people die each year suffering from Cardiovascular disease. Developing countries like ours in rural areas there is scarcity of doctors and for that people are being failed to consult with doctor regarding their heart issues. In this project we propose a signal processing approach where subject will record heart sound by using smart phone application and it will be uploaded to the cloud. Doctor will fetch the data from cloud and analyze the signal using fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and Wavelet Transform. Doctor will come out with a conclusion that whether the subject has cardiac problem or not depending on the analyzed signal. The proposed approach achieved good accuracy while analyzing the subject?s data.
