Biography
I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North South University (NSU), Bangladesh. My teaching at NSU covers areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and programming. I obtained my Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia (UVa), USA. My doctoral dissertation, titled “Transport Generative Models in Pattern Analysis and Recognition,” focused on the development of mathematical and computational frameworks for applications in artificial intelligence. I completed my undergraduate studies in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Prior to that, I completed both my SSC and HSC at Rangpur Cadet College. My research interests include applied mathematics, machine learning, image informatics, and computational biology.

Research Projects & Grants
Ongoing:
- NSU CTRG Grant 2024-2025: CTRG-24-SEPS-27 – An optimal transport-based generative framework for modeling multidimensional distributions.
Supervision of theses and dissertations
I have offered and supervised CSE499A/B (Senior Design Project) at North South University. As part of this course, students undertake substantial engineering projects under faculty supervision, culminating in a formally bound document submitted at the end of the semester. These capstone projects can be treated as equivalents to undergraduate theses within the academic curriculum.
Other Academic Contributions at NSU or elsewhere
- Software developments: one of the contributors in PyTransKit , TBM package.
