Biography
Reeshoon Sayera received her M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, where she specialized in Computer Vision. Her research focuses on robust visual recognition, gait recognition, and deployment-aware evaluation of machine learning systems. She is particularly interested in multimodal learning, Vision-Language Models (VLMs), and the reliability of foundation models in real-world settings. Prior to joining academia, she worked as an AI Engineer at Intelligent Machines in Dhaka, where she contributed to the development and deployment of large-scale AI solutions for retail analytics, counterfeit detection, and credit risk modeling.
