NSU Electrical and Computer Engineering Alumnus Shamir Shihab receives Young Leadership Award from Her Majesty The Queen
Many congratulations to Shamir Shehab, an alumni of NSU Electricla and Computer Engineering Department , who is one of the 60 exceptional young individuals chosen from across the Commonwealth to have received a prestigious Queen’s Young Leaders award on the 22nd of June 2015, for his work in Bangladesh to educate young people on climate change. Shamir set up the Bangladesh Youth Environmental Initiative when he became concerned about the effect of climate change on his country. NSU Sinobis won SUB Inter University Programming Contest 2015
Members of NSU team, champion of SUB Inter-University Programming Contest-2015, receive certificate from AM Shamim, president, board of trustees, SUB, at the closing ceremony in the capital recently. A team of North South University (NSU) name ‘Sinobis’ won the championship of SUB Inter-University Programming Contest 2015 held on February 07, 2015, says a press release. A total of 273 contestants of 91 teams from different public and private universities across the country participated in the contest. NSU Team wins Hardware competition
AÂ team from the Department Electrical and Computer Engineering of North South University participated in the ENGENIUS 15′ event organised by the AUST EEE Project Society on 24th January and became the champion in the Hardware section beating 63 other teams. They built a low cost incubator that could be used to save the lives of premature babies at rural areas The team consisted of: Maria Moosa Munne Tahzib Mashrik Jawadur Rahman Baized Shuvo.
