The project is a Vertical Axis Wind Turbine which is magnetically levitated in order to reduce frictional loss and produce electricity. Permanent magnets are used to create an induced EMF when the turbine rotates containing permanent magnet that cuts with the coil. The AC output of the PM generator is to be fed to a Voltage Multiplier Circuit that would multiply the voltage according to our requirements and convert it to DC voltage. The energy harvested could be stored in a battery or used to operate electrical loads.
