Intra NSU Programming Contest Fall 2018
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering organized Intra NSU Programming Contest (INPC) Fall 2018 in collaboration with NSU ACM SIGAPP Student Chapter and NSU Problem Solvers on 23 November 2018. With over 91 registrants, this INPC was one of the biggest of its kind in the history of NSU. Hosted by Toph and supported by NSU IT Office, the contest took place at NSU PZone and began at 09:15 AM. VACANCY: Part-Time ECE Lab Officer for Spring, 2019
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is currently accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Lab Officer, serving 20 hours/week. Responsibilities: Independently teach 3 undergraduate labs (9 hours/week). Provide consultation to students for remaining contracted hours (11 hours/week). Assist in the preparation of laboratory manuals. Invigilate examinations. On 17th November, in North South University, cropped up the 1st Congress on “Bridging gaps among Industry, Academia and Govt” organized by ECE Department of North South University and co-host by IEEE Industrial Application Society North South University Student Branch. MoU Between ECE/NSU and Brac IT Services Ltd.
On Nov 05th, Brac IT Services (BiTS) signed an MOU with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) on academia-industry collaboration. Under this MOU, BiTS will conduct career workshops, on-campus recruitments, tech seminars at NSU geared towards the students of ECE department, and also look at ways to collaborate on research projects, utilizing academia expertise from ECE. Department of ECE is going to hire a number of teaching assistants (TA) for all different ECE courses. If you are interested please fill out this form by Oct 23, 2018. Robo Riot segment of Mecceleration Champion NSU Optimizer(HAU MAU)
Congratulation to team NSU Optimizer(HAU MAU)! On 17th October 2018, one of the biggest mechanical festival named “Mecceleration” was held in Islamic University of Technology(IUT), organized by the Mechanical Department of the university. In Robo Riot segment of Mecceleration, our NSU Robotics Team “NSU Optimizer(HAU MAU)” secured the CHAMPION position. In Robo Riot, 21 robots from different universities of Bangladesh participated and five of them are from our NSU. Our NSU teams also participated in Robo Soccer and Line Follower Robot in Mecceleration.

Annual Party and Succession Ceremony 2018
It is an immense pleasure for NSU ACM-W Student Chapter to host the Annual party and Succession Ceremony 2018. The event took place at the Exhibition Center, NSU on 13th of October 2018. The initiative was taken for the members to spend a quality of time with the other members of the community.
